Journey Through The Dark Night

This set represents the rage at my mother over the secret evil she perpetrated against me and the cutesy-normal public mask she keeps on.

Seems I am being accused again of suffering from false memories. This is what certain of those inside who are emerging think about that.

This is a very pale approximation of the way I met Jesus the first time. No earthly portrayal can do it justice but this gives a rough idea.

I was sold into MKULTRA subprograms in around 1971. The doctor/counselor teams set about creating Wonderland in my mind to contain and organize all of the dissociative structures, and to provide smoke and mirror illusions to obscure the facts of my history.

The symbolic pictures of the depths of what the work of Jesus does for us, pictured deep within the old testament experiences of the wandering Israelites, continues to amaze and humble me. It amazes me because much of the work of Christ is intimately represented in the fine details of the structures and tools the Israelites were commanded to create. It humbles me because I tend to view the Pentateuch and Torah as tedious, and with little relevance to a New-Covenantal way of life. In this reading I am doing, however, I keep seeing pictures of what Jesus would later do for his people and for the world at large, and thus the Pentateuch comes alive to me.

This is how I view the way God intends 1 Corinthians 11:3 to express itself.
 
3 "But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."
 
The man is not to Lord it over the woman but offer her protection out of the blessing and protection he, himself receives from Christ.
 
This particular set is a picture of my marriage. We have gone through continuous storms in our life but we find peace and blessing through it all in our relationship to each other and to God.
